This month, the funky art gallery on King Street Galactic Panther will participate in the Old Town Art Walk, Thursday, May 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

A feature of the event will be their series of Panther Party Art workshops, free to visitors and including an artist-assisted charcoal drawing workshop, led by ESP Tea & Coffee.

The Art Walk celebration will also serve as the closing reception for two exhibitions, including JUXTAPOSE (a contemporary art exhibition featuring regional, national and international visionary artists), and hop up (an exhibition of the artist Ben Freeman).

With over 50 local, national and international contemporary visionary artists, and some classics like Picasso & Holly currently depicted in the gallery, it’s a great opportunity to stop and pick up a fun gift and unique piece of art, grab a snack, and even create a piece of art yourself.
