NBA All-Star Field Featured in Citywide NFT Art Gallery

Starting Monday, Feb. 7, Cleveland Cavaliers fans will be able to hold a court at the All-Star Game — literally.

The NBA unveils this year’s All-Star field as part of the first-ever NBA All-Star NFT Art Gallery in Cleveland.

The land will be featured as one of the limited-edition collectibles, with the collection available to purchase from Monday.

Beginning Friday, February 4, fans can visit any of 10 venues across the city to find and scan a QR code to register and sign up for more information.

NFTs feature the history of Ohio’s NBA All-Star games, represented as limited-edition digital collectibles.

Each court will be displayed as part of the NBA All-Star artwork covering one of Cleveland’s 10 venues, and will then be depicted digitally in its original form, the “NBA Edition”, as well as in a 75th anniversary theme, the “Diamond Edition”. “, which will include a mini physical replica of the terrain.

Under the program, $100,000 of proceeds will go to Donor Collaboration on COVID Recoverya partnership that includes nearly 50 philanthropic foundations, nonprofit organizations and government entities, to help support the community as it recovers from the economic and social impacts of COVID-19.

Designs include the following:

  • The 1966 Cincinnati Gardens All-Star Field.
  • The 1981 all-star pitch at Richfield Coliseum, which marked the league’s 35th anniversary.
  • The 1997 All-Star pitch at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (formerly Gund Arena), commemorating the league’s 50th anniversary.
  • The 2022 All-Star Field featuring the league’s 75th anniversary, to be held at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

An exclusive 75th anniversary field design inspired by the creation used throughout the season to celebrate the milestone.

Fans can find the QR codes in downtown Cleveland at Tower City Center entrances at Public Square and Huron Road, JACK Cleveland Casino Skywalk, RTA’s B-Line Trolleys, The 9’s digital boards over E. 9th Street, The Arcade , Gateway District wallscapes and Gateway Plaza next to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Earlier this week, the Cavs unveiled “My Cavs Locker,” giving fans a free digital locker to view and interact with Cavs NFT collectibles.
